Privacy Policy

Kadogoo Club is a children’s reading community in Tanzania for ages 5–12. The website, admin tools, and mobile app are run for the club. A parent or guardian manages a child’s membership. We do not sell personal information.

• Parent or guardian name, phone number, email, region, and address when you join, sign in, or order a book.
• Child first name, age, grade, school, and other details you enter on the usajili form.
• Account password (stored as a hash), profile photo if you upload one, reading streaks, saved books, and points.
• Community videos, captions, and votes you choose to post from the app.
• Book orders and payment references (pay on delivery, ClickPesa, or card checkout). We do not store full card numbers.
• QR codes you redeem, and basic device or browser data needed to keep the service secure.

The iPhone and Android apps may ask for the camera to scan a book QR code, and for the photo library so a parent can upload a reading video. You can refuse those permissions and still use other parts of the app. We do not use the camera or library in the background.

• To run membership, the app, book orders, and club events.
• To contact the parent or guardian about the child.
• To publish only the photos and videos you have allowed.
• To send email or SMS you asked for (for example a newsletter).
• To keep accounts, QR codes, and payments secure.

We do not use children’s data for advertising networks or sell it to third parties.

Club administrators can see registrations, orders, and community posts in order to run the club. Public pages only show content marked published (for example gallery photos or a community clip you posted). Phone numbers, home addresses, and school details are not published on the website.

Hosting and tools we use to operate the service include Vercel (website), Neon (database), Railway (media files), Brevo (email), Mobishastra (SMS), and payment providers when you pay for a book. They process data only to provide those services.

Kadogoo Club is for children aged 5–12, but accounts and forms are for a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. We collect a child’s details only with that adult’s consent. A parent may refuse photo or video consent and still register the child.

We keep membership and order records while the child is in the club and as long as we need them for club records or the law. You may ask us to correct information, stop messages, or delete a child’s membership. Write to info@kadogooclub.co.tz or call +255 713 705 597.

5. Mwanachama hataruhusiwa kutumia lugha ya matusi, ubaguzi, vitisho, udhalilishaji au tabia inayoweza kuhatarisha wengine.
6. Mawasiliano rasmi yanayomhusu mtoto yatafanywa kupitia mzazi au mlezi.
7. Taarifa binafsi za mtoto hazitachapishwa hadharani. Hizi ni pamoja na namba ya simu, anuani ya nyumbani na taarifa binafsi za shule.
8. Baadhi ya safari, matukio au mashindano yanaweza kuhitaji ruhusa nyingine ya mzazi na masharti maalumu ya usalama.
9. Ridhaa ya matumizi ya picha, video na kazi za mtoto ni ya hiari. Mzazi anaweza kuiondoa kwa kuwasiliana na Kadogoo Club.
10. Kazi ya ubunifu itaendelea kuwa mali ya mtoto. Ruhusa ya kuionyesha haimaanishi Kadogoo Club imepewa umiliki wa kudumu wa kazi hiyo.
11. Zawadi zitatolewa kwa kuzingatia kanuni za shindano husika. Uanachama pekee hauhakikishi ushindi au zawadi.
12. Kadogoo Club inaweza kusimamisha uanachama endapo masharti yatakiukwa, baada ya kuwasiliana na mzazi au mlezi.
13. Mzazi anaweza kuomba taarifa zisahihishwe, mawasiliano yasimamishwe au uanachama wa mtoto ufutwe.
14. Kadogoo Club itatumia taarifa kwa madhumuni ya uanachama, usalama, uendeshaji wa shughuli na mawasiliano yaliyoidhinishwa.
15. Kadogoo Club haitauza taarifa binafsi za mtoto au mzazi kwa mtu mwingine.
